Really like this shirt, dress shirt does not cling to it, makes wearing very nice. Nice fit, did not come un-tucked as they say really good T-Shirt. However, mail order does not need all the extra fancy packaging. Plus at the price of $38.00 a shirt way to pricey to have more than one or two of.
A very good undershirt
I have been looking for better fitting undershirts for years. I wanted something longer, form fitting, wider neck line, and thinner fabric with better moisture management. Being tall and fit makes most of the stock L too short and XL too baggy. Thus, I was turned on to TJ; significantly more $$ than my Hanes, but promising most everything I wanted.
3 months into wearing the Deep V crewnecks I have been very happy. I wash the shirt multiple times per week and the quality has held up well (there is one small hole in fabric but I think that is from a laundry shoot snag than lack of quality). Shirt has not shrunk or discolored. Remarkably cool/comfortable throughout the day, with exception of intermittent sleeve ride-up, though this is true of most every t-shirt/undershirt I layer with.
Regarding the fit: length is perfect. I have never had it come untucked. The shirt 'clings' well; not constricting and no excess fabric gut. My only reservation is that the sleeves tend to ride up into my armpits through the course of reaching/movement. Now, this was true with my old staple Hanes shirts too. Though with the fabric this is bearable, rather than infuriating as was with my old Hanes cotton v-necks.
Overall I am happy and will return for more. If they fix the sleeve ride-up issue then five-stars.
Almost perfect
Agree w other commenters- these shirts are definitely the best of what's out there, and represent what I've been searching for for a long time. Fit remains snug over time, material is quality, and they perform exactly as advertised. Additionally, they truly are a "deep V", unlike other products.
Only suggestion, as per other comments, would be to shorten the sleeve length. If attempting to wear under most shirt-sleeved polos, the arms will stick out. Ruins an otherwise perfect product.
